Why SleepLab One
Most mattresses are designed for back or side sleepers, leaving stomach sleepers on a flat surface with their head turned far to one side. SleepLab One starts from the position you actually sleep in: the ergonomic face cutout lets you lie with your head straight forward, while the resilient cold foam core keeps your spine in a neutral line.

Open base only
SleepLab One is only suitable for an open base, such as a slatted base. Do not use the mattress on a box spring, a solid platform, the floor or any other closed surface: air must always be able to flow in from below through the face opening. Not suitable for children and young people under 16. See also article 12 of the terms and conditions.

Returns & warranty
You have a 14-day cooling-off period, also if you determine your own head size (voluntary for made-to-measure). Report it via Withdrawal. What is a mattress with a cutout for your face?
It is a mattress with an ergonomically shaped opening with a soft edge where your head rests. You lie face down into it, so your neck does not have to turn and space stays open around nose and mouth. In SleepLab One the cutout is part of the core and the cover, so it does not shift.
Is this a mattress for stomach sleepers with neck complaints?
The mattress is designed for stomach sleepers and is mostly chosen by people with neck and shoulder complaints. The cutout removes the neck rotation that stomach sleeping on a flat mattress requires in order to breathe. It is not a medical device; if you have complaints, consult your physiotherapist or doctor.
Which sizes are available and how do I choose?
SleepLab One comes in 90×200, 90×210 and 90×220 cm, 20 cm thick. Pick the length that matches your bed base. Need a different size? Get in touch and we will look at the options.
Can I also use it on my back or side?
Yes. The core supports you in other positions too. A made-to-measure insert is included that closes the cutout, so the surface is flat when you sleep on your back for a while.
What is the delivery time?
Around 3 weeks, because every mattress is produced for you after your order. Shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium is free and you receive a track & trace code once it ships.
What does it mean if I determine my own head size?
We then cut the face opening to your own measurements, based on the head size you provide in the tool on this page. The law has no right of withdrawal for made-to-measure goods, but we voluntarily give you the same 14-day cooling-off period as with the standard size. The 5-year warranty on manufacturing faults applies either way. The tool works in centimetres or in inches, whichever you prefer.
