A mattress for stomach sleepers doesn't start with materials or firmness, but with how someone actually lies down.
Three questions as a starting point
That's why we built SleepLab One from the first sketch around three questions:
- How does a stomach sleeper naturally lie?
- Where does pressure build up, and where is support needed?
- How can the mattress logically respond to that?
Those questions led to a design where every part has a clear function.
The ergonomic face cutout
The most recognizable part of SleepLab One is the integrated face cutout. It gives stomach sleepers an extra way to position their head, without needing separate accessories.
The shape, position and finish are part of the mattress design itself. The soft edge provides a comfortable contact surface.
Every mattress is delivered with a made-to-measure insert for the cutout. Slide it in and the sleep surface is flat again — for nights on your back, or for whoever else uses the bed. Taking it out takes a second.
Not an afterthought. An integral part of the design.
Built with purpose
SleepLab One isn't built with as many layers as possible. Every choice contributes to comfort, support or sleep quality.
Ergonomic face cutout
The sleep surface holds an ergonomically shaped opening with a soft edge. It lets you lie with your head straight forward instead of turned, and keeps space open around nose and mouth. A made-to-measure insert is included, so you can fill the cutout whenever you want a flat surface.
Lyocell cover
A soft, breathable cover that finishes the mattress comfortably and keeps the sleep surface cool.
Comfort layer
A soft top layer for a comfortable first contact with the mattress, easing pressure at the head, shoulders and hips. New techniques allow ergonomic cuts in the top of the core, giving better support for lying on your stomach.
Supportive core
The 18cm foam core forms the stable base of SleepLab One, keeping the spine in a neutral line, even on your stomach. It carries the weight of torso and hips so the pelvis does not sink in.
